Today, Thursday, April 1, 2021, representatives of the Tunisian Deanship of Engineers organized a protest march in front of the headquarters of the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation “ATCT” from nine in the morning until midday (passport holders).
Engineers threaten to emigrate if the supervisory authority does not respond to their basic demands, which are mainly to increase wages.
The Dean of Engineers had held the government responsible for the decisions of sit-ins and protests among the engineers, due to its retreat from what was agreed upon regarding the private increase agreement to the engineers of public institutions and establishments, considering that failure to respond to what was mentioned in this agreement is an explicit “insult” to all engineers.
