250.000 vaccinerede i Tunesien

Mere end 250.000 personer har nu modtaget covid-19 vaccinen i Tunesien.

Tunisian Public Health said on Wednesday that 13,135 people were vaccinated on April 20, 2021, thus 252,672 Tunisians have so far been vaccinated in the country.

The ministry also reported, in a press release, that the number of people wishing to receive the coronavirus vaccine and registered on the “evax” platform rose to 1,203,913.

The toll of people who received the first dose stands at 204,975 individuals, while 47,697 have already been inoculated the second dose, according to the same source.

The vaccination process continues with the second dose of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine, taking into account the specificity of each vaccine, especially with regard to the time between the first dose and the second, which varies from one vaccine to another.

In addition, the Tunisian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that a total of 38 centers will be dedicated to vaccination against the coronavirus following the upcoming opening of 6 other sites in several regions across the country.

Since its appearance, the Covid-19 has affected 289,230 Tunisians, of which 9,918 have lost their lives, while 239,104 others have recovered their health, according to the latest official data from Tunisian Public Health.
